Biewer and Standard Yorkshire Terriers
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.  Philippians 4:13
For more information about the Biewer Terrier please visit our Biewer History and Club News pages. We are proud to announce the acceptance of the Biewer Terrier by the American Rare Breed Association (ARBA). With the progress the Biewer Terrier is making in the USA we feel that a registry set up for the Biewer Terrier Breed is of prime importance and we will be registering all our dogs with the Biewer Terrier Registry of America (BTRA)and ARBA. BTRA is the only DNA tested purebred Biewer Terrier registry.
We are proud to be part of the foundation of the Biewer Terrier's in America. We're doing our best to contribute the finest Biewer Terrier's so that it will be a good, quality foundation. We go through a stringent set of tests to insure we are in the best possible health before we produce a litter. We have a spacious home and a huge fenced in yard to keep unwanted quests from contaminating our play space. We give the "life of Riley" new meaning.
We are the Paradise "Dream Babies" and would like to invite you to our home. The Biewer breed is very new and will need a lot of time and devotion to assure quality, healthy dogs. Pruett's Puppy Paradise believes they can do this best by having the one breed, Biewer Terriers. The diversity of blood lines among us will help keep us from being bred to closely. We will be building on the better qualities of each line. Many of us are currently in the show ring and are repeated champions. Please visit us individually.

The BTCA, Inc. (Biewer Terrier Club of America, Inc.) offers a wealth of information about the Biewer Terrier and is parent club for the Biewer Terrier Breed. They continue to pave the wave for the purebred Biewer Terrier's development in America. It's breeders have many years of experience breeding Yorkies and are willing to help you with what ever questions you may have. Some of the breeders are into their 3rd generation Biewer's and through trial and error are producing some very nice puppies. I am proud to have the opportunity to work with and learn from these breeders and share what I am learning. We still have a long way to go, but we are dedicated to producing the best foundation in America and could not ask for a better team to do it with.
We made a trip to Germany the 1st week in Nov. 2007 and were happy to be able to meet with Mrs. Biewer. It was an experience never to be forgotten. We are proud to announce that Mrs. Biewer is now an honorary member of the BTCA, Inc. and is in full support of what they are doing for the Biewer Terrier in America. She is always excited to hear about the progress that is being made towards the recognition of the Biewer Terrier as a breed of it's own.

Our goal is to bring you the healthiest, happiest, most beautiful Biewer Terriers possible.
There is much controversy about the standard in America, and which one should be used. The fact is that there is only one revised standard that Mrs. Biewer has signed and agreed too. It is the standard that the BTCA, Inc. uses.

The standard being pushed by other clubs was written by 2 Mi-Ki breeders in 2003 and used by the United Kennel Club Internationale in Germany. This is the only club in Germany that uses that standard and is not considered the Universal standard.

When Mr. Biewer became ill, he was not able to carry on the dream he and his wife had set out to accomplish for the Biewer's. All the decisions of their breeding program became the sole responsibility of Mrs. Biewer and the care of her husband and the dogs became to much.

Mrs. Biewer is happy to help the BTCA achieve the dream that they had both envisioned for the Biewer Breed. The BTCA, Inc. is the only club that has Mrs. Biewer's support. They will someday make that dream a reality.
